I G Property was founded by Ian with the purchase of a three bed terraced property in South Bank in 1989 for Law College students, since then the business has grown and we are now one of the largest and most successful letting agents in York.
In the shadows of York Minster, our centrally located office is ideally situated in the heart of the city, with our aim being to provide the highest possible customer service to our landlords and tenants alike.
We have our own comfortable lounge where tenants can relax whilst choosing properties to view or signing tenancy agreements.
The office is open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Our experienced team are committed to making your time as a tenant or Landlord with us run as smoothly as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and make your tenancy an enjoyable one.
We also have our own fast response maintenance team who have well equipped transit vans meaning that issues/breakdowns are dealt with promptly.
We have an emergency number to ensure that we are on hand 24/7 to deal with any urgent issues that you may have.
As well as Ian, in the office you will find Ruth, Katherine, Kerry and Alex on hand to guide you through the letting procedure. We also have Darren and Mick in the maintenance team who ensure maintenance issues are dealt with swiftly and efficiently. We also have close relationships with a number of contractors with trades such as electricians, gas engineers, plumbers, painters & decorators, window fitters, locksmiths etc.
